Hilarity struck recently during a Georgetown, Texas city council meeting when one council member excused himself to use the restroom, but forgot to turn his lapel mic off. Did we learn nothing from Robert Durst?
Mayor Pro Tem Rachael Jonrowe does an admirable job trying to keep it together while the sounds of someone relieving themselves echo throughout the council chambers. On the plus side, the sound system is excellent. On the not-so-plus side, those who shook hands with the missing councilman are now aware that he does not wash his hands.
