Everything you need to know about the science, history, culture and use of buttocks, butts and booties in a “G” format.
Buttocks came up last week with the loss of Mary Tyler Moore. Old interviews are up and running with her proudly commenting how she changed the world or television by wearing “capri pants.” Bucking the producers and sponsors who up until that time did not want to see any “cupping under” of female buttocks. I guess that was also the point of girdles for a few hundred years.
“They used [the] term ‘cupping under.’ And I can only assume that that meant my, you know, my seat—that there was a little too much definition,” Mary Tyler Moore
Which is a much better quote from her than this from 2010
“When one looks at what’s happened to television, there are so few shows that interest me. I do watch a lot of Fox News. I like Charles Krauthammer and Bill O’Reilly. If McCain had asked me to campaign for him, I would have.”
