See that soldier in the middle there? That was me for 13 months. During the USS Pueblo incident when things were hot. I spent the greatest part of
that time about 120 meters from the actual line in a foxhole. I got in two firefights, each lasting about 30 minutes. An hour of that crap is more than enough for any living creature. Any more than that can seriously fk you up for the rest of your life. Please avoid if at all possible.
Keep in mind that the worst thing in the world is violence. The pain, agony, sorrow and loss of life are of course horrible, but it is especially horrifying because unlike disease and catastrophe it can be avoided. Violence is fed by the celebration of guns, executions, torture, war and slapping our kids around.
