Oops, they forgot the first weapon to use mechanics – in this case the lever – as a delivery device, the atlatl. It was a spear thrower whereby slotting a spear into a notched hand held wooden, bone or antler shaft extended the speed and range of a thrown spear by a factor of six. Perhaps it was the questionable time line of the weapon that caused it to be missing from this video, somewhere between 30,000 BC and 15,000 BC. The sling is also missing.
To be fair I have come to believe that the hunting of unarmed animals should be regulated to the use of only hands, teeth, rocks, spears, atlatls and bows. Hunting with a 40 round clip assault rifle is for men with no dicks.
