We present this list of allegedly awful things to avoid in the spirit of helpfulness, because frankly – who can read the mind of someone else? Then again, making and exchanging lists is fraught with anxiety as well, and does eliminate the element of surprise, some think that’s a good thing. I was raised on the ‘hint and hope’ method, which often falls upon deaf ears if you’ve married a list maker or someone who averts gift-giving situations entirely.
After these entirely unnecessary thoughts, please peruse the list. Hey, there are a couple of things here that I’d like to get! No list is perfect. As always, keep the recipient in mind – and if you know where to find number ten, please feel free to send it on! Um..Nine depends upon what is under it, of course.
