YELP is about as far removed from who I am and what I do that it is hard for me to comment upon it. Like going to Starbucks, buying water, or wearing socks or underwear. In fact the rest of my more active family – who seldom if ever let their phones out of their hands – are not even sure what YELP it is. I think it must be for the traveling set or those who work downtown in tall buildings.
In fact social media itself is just not my cup of coffee, which I don’t drink. If I want to know something the last place I would go would be Facebook, Twitter, YELP or the comment section of anything at all. If I want some advice on a restaurant or a business I tend to ask someone I know, in person, or even in a voice phone call! How strange is that? I am still living way back in the 2000’s.
I also noticed that in Google images there are not a few graphics of business doors that have the YELP logo saying PEOPLE HATE US ON YELP! And Proud of it.
