Maybe the word is NORMALCY… The Republican Party is even against normalcy. They know they can no longer win nationally without gaming the system by suppressing the vote. An attack on the very essence of Democracy.
The only why they can hold the House is gaming the system through gerrymandering which is also an attack on democracy. Remember, Democratic House members got over a million more votes that Republican House members and they have 33 more members that Democrats.
In the Senate, designed specifically to specifically avoid democracy they only need 40 out to 100, twenty states is all they need. They know the math there. Just hold the confederate block in the South and that large swath of states in the middle where no one lives, and they are good stop anything they want.
