When the gun enthusiast’s name who used an AK47 and an semiautomatic hand gun finally came up this morning I thought “Cedric” finally a black guy mass shooter killing white people, now something will be done about guns here in Gunamania. You know, like in the late 1960’s after the Black Panthers were demonstrating with long rifles and California passed gun laws. Or in New York when that black guy did his mass shooting on a train.
But wait…
Gabby Giffords reminded us that just in the last week there were 11 mass shootings here in Gunamania.
The answer to this affliction is of course that not only do all the people of Kansas need to openly carry assault rifles and a couple semiautomatic pistals in their hands at all times – it goes without saying that we each need three guns to out gun the bad guys who usually have two guns – but we need to get everyone in America on board. We need to emulate Somalia and the Congo.
In fact Kansas itself is well on the way in that. Just this week they passed a law that all children under 11 shall not be denied the fun of playing with guns of any sort. Nothing is more American than a toddler with a gun.
The problem with all this is that Republicans have no choice but to pander to these uneducated [who The Donald loves most, for without them where would he be?] loud, obnoxious, paranoid, violent, angry gun enthusiasts as the only way they can get their votes while they economically stick it to them.
If Republicans did not pander to the bigots, racists, sexists, pro lifers, intolerant evangelicals and gun enthusiasts the White House, Supreme Court, both houses of Congress and all state legislatures and governors would be in Democratic hands. Well except Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma and Kansas.
