Of late it has been hard for some to make any differentiation between Libertarians, the Tea Party the NRA and Rush Limbaugh fans. It’s a character thing. Some call it American Exceptionalism others call it crap. Exceptional selfishness, callousness, ugliness and hypocrisy.
No matter which of the above mentioned groups, they are the kind of people you do not want to engage in any manner at all. It is depressing, ugly, and dangerous for they are for the most part armed and angry. And of course trying to have an intelligent conversation with them is acolossal waste of time.
I have found the quickest way to find out if their character is in the sewer with Rush Limbaugh in just one question.
“So, what about the Homeless?” [This can be any group that may need a helping hand rather than the finger from a guy in red tie and an American Flag lapel pin]“They should not have got themselves into that position in the first place. I had nothing to do with their situation so have no responsibility for their problems, Why should I be forced to help anyone I don’t know. And besides they are all a bunch of drug addicts and alcoholics.”
“Do you sleep well at night?”
“Like a baby, like a fking baby…”
Walk away. This is not a person you want to be around or be anywhere near your children. Or pets. Or even your aquarium.
