Conan’s Jeb Bush sitcom has all of the elements that made similar shows forgettable. There’s the wacky relative nicknamed ‘Chuggo’ (hint: Mission Accomplished). And, the Jeb! star has things in his past he may want to sweep under Trump’s rug – like his ‘Stand Your Ground’ legislation in Florda, which proved helpful in launching George Zimmerman’s career. Zimmerman could be a bit player, who later spins off into his own program called ‘George! in Jail’
I did learn something. Apparently John Ellis Bush had no presidential aspirations when he jettisoned his dignified birth name. He has stuck to the short nickname, which says a lot about Jeb.
