I especially like how they made the stack high to low rather than the more obvious low to high.
Did you watch election night returns? It came out almost exactly as the polls said it would. So nothing unexpected.
But I am sure, like me, that when you watch these things with all the red and blue maps in your face constantly, that what you come away with is just how really fked up people are out in the boondocks, which takes up about 90% of our land mass. What is the matter with those people?
Are they all drunk and racist? I do suppose that they drink more what with there not being much else to do. Well other than watch Fox News, listen to talk radio, and read their Tea Party Christian owned local newspapers.
The only black people they ever see or even know about, are athletes going to jail, rap musicians going to jail, mug shots in the papers and not to forget those unarmed thugs shot by good well intentioned white people. Oh, and of course President Obama and Al Sharpton presented as tyrannical racists by Fox News and talk radio every minute of every day and night.
But there is another issue seldom talked about that I found on my last trip into the boondocks.
Though it is THAT time of year, most of the talk was of what they killed last week and what they are planning to kill next week. With a good part of the rest of the year spent getting ready for the Fall killing season.
As a life long hunter and gatherer, I can safely say that the results of hunting and fishing ends up costing far far FAR more per pound than better food at the store. And none of the wild meat tastes better than a farmed catfish, a chicken, a turkey, a pig or a cow. There is none of that good tasting fat on wildlife. As to fishing, you need about 200 years of catching fish just to pay for the damn boat.
Oh one last thing. After 6 years of receiving emails with the graphics of WATERMELON ONE on the tarmac and Witch Doctor Obama with a bone in his nose, I asked them about that. They denied it having anything to do with racism. I asked if that were true, did they send those same emails to any of their black friends? I can’t recall ever in my life getting such blank stares.
