Ann Coulter, Stuart Varney and Keith Ablow Soccer Conspiracy, Stephen Colbert

fox don't like soccerSo, the World Cup is a conspiracy led by President Obama to deflect attention from the IRS to a foreign, stupid, boring and unAmerican sport that only Hispanics watch – millions of whom need to be torn from their families and sent back to where they or their parents came from.

FOX BUSINESS NEWS just does not get the attention it deserves.

Tea Party favorite Ann Coulter also weighed in with a full frontal admission to the ethnic bigotry that drives the Republican Party on immigration reform.

In her recent column Ann Coulter tells us that soccer only become popular in the United States because of Sen. Edward Kennedy’s 1965 immigration law. No mention of Ronald Reagan in 1986 declaring amnesty and giving green cards to 4 million undocumented workers. And on she goes to make no bones about the ugly bigotry that drives Republican immigration policy:

“I promise you: No American whose great-grandfather was born here is watching soccer. One can only hope that, in addition to learning English, these new Americans will drop their soccer fetish with time.”

“Do they even have MVPs in soccer? Everyone just runs up and down the field and, every once in a while, a ball accidentally goes in,”

“There are no heroes, no losers, no accountability, and no child’s fragile self-esteem is bruised.”

“The prospect of either personal humiliation or major injury is required to count as a sport.”

If there is not enough English, major injuries and children crying then soccer is not a sport!

This is all so parochial, or perhaps the new word COLUMBUSING applies here?
