As you probably know the very sane looking Republican Governor of Florida Rick Scott has made it illegal for state agencies to use the terms “Global Warming” or “Climate Change” in any documents or interviews with the press, instead in Republican held Florida they suffer nuisance flooding, moisture inconvenience and statewide Jacuzzification,
On the other hand over in Democratic controlled California which is suffering from the greatest prolonged drought of all time, Governor Jerry Brown is facing reality and doing something about it. Which seems to be the difference between Republicans and Democrats in most everything. Silly dishonest crap versus the unpopular truth of the matter.
But even Jerry Brown can’t do much about saving the water until the rest of us stop eating so much meat, poultry, cheese and almonds. Who’s eating all the almonds? It aint me… I am from Dumbutt where we eat pecans. Which if you did not know come by only every other year. Pecans are also the only nut you don’t need a nut cracker for as just another pecan will do. And not only do they grow here in the wet part of American, but they are by far the best tasting nut.
The problem with climate change is much like denial of evolution. With evolution too many people cannot get their heads around the time thing, while with the environment and global warming the same people cannot get their head around how the problem accelerates things.
