The amount of signatures needed for a White House response has been increased to 100,000, but is grandfathered as you can see with the Sasquatch Petition. If only more people would pay attention to this great idea by going to the site to see all the worthy petitions. I picked one of the more serious petitions. Well not so much serious as one of the few that is not about Right-wing lunatics venting their anger at that black guy.
