“You make no sense.” Matt Lauer tells an obviously dejected and now rejected Kellyanne Conway, this the morning after the Michael Flynn firing. There is no missing it you can see it in her eyes and posture, the thrill is gone, the fire is out, Kellyanne in now in hangover world.
Adding to this dying on the vine performance with Lauer, came this morning’s shot at Kellyanne from Morning Joe’s Mika Brzeninski putting her job on the line to no longer book Conway.
“I know for a fact she tries to book herself on this show; I won’t do it, every time I’ve ever seen her on television, something’s askew, off, or incorrect. I will say: Kellyanne Conway does not need to text our show, just as long as I’m on it because it’s not happening here.”
The polls show a gradual decrease in the Trump approval rating from 38 as President Elect, to the high of 45 at inauguration, to now 40 with a steady 55 disapproval. Sane Republicans are quietly peeling off leaving only that third of Americans who reside within the Fox News / Talk Radio bubble. Those who never read, hear or see anything other than what they are fed by the Right-wing Informational Complex. And if by chance they do come across something real and true, if they don’t like it’s fake news, and they all agree. It works, within cults.
The question is not how long Kellyanne, Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon or even The Donald himself can last, but rather how that Trump voting cult that got us into this mess can be reached and made sane again.
They don’t watch the “lying scum” networks or cable news, they never heard of NPR or PBS, the last newspaper they read was green and full of four wheeler ads and books won’t help for all they read come from Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly or Tom Clancy.
Ah, the internet! Where their tabs are open to Drudge, Fox News, Breitbart, Infowars, Daily Caller, Trump’s twitter feed and video one.
They can’t be reached, it is hopeless.
We could suppress their vote by requiring library photo ID cards or PBS membership.
We could round them up and deport them to some place to the Right of the United States. I guess that would be a choice between Russia, Syria, Pakistan and Iran.
Or we could just get everyone with a lick of sense to VOTE in every election every time and be done with them once and or all.
