Fox News and talk radio are running this one into the ground knowing full well that polls show Americans 2 to 1 are seeing this for the personal witch hunt it is. Get that black Attorney General! Those in middle American see this as the same over reach of federal power as they – and the jurors hearing the cases – did in the John Edwards and the Roger Clemens cases. A big waste of time and money.
So why do they double down on it knowing that? Because Mitt Romney is not able to get the Tea Party Right juiced up enough to get out the vote come November. And nothing juices that gang up more than impeaching a black guy who can tell them what to do.
