Oh sure, giving black people the finger and screaming the N-Word at them is nothing new to the Republican mindset these days, but it is a bit unusual for a Black Congressman, in this case Reverend Emmanuel Cleaver, to be spit on by a Tea Baggers on the capitol steps Saturday. The congressman has also received death threats to his office in Kansas City, "a bullet to the head" they said. Ten other Democratic Congressman have also received threats to themselves and families. The spitting incident was witnessed by many. Which is many more than ever witnessed anyone spitting upon a returning soldier from Vietnam. Never has there been a picture, an account from a reporter, or more than ONE PERSON per incident who ever witnessed such a thing. A nasty Republican Urban Legend that has successfully lived on for more than 40 years before we had a name for such lies. Many articles and even books have delved deeply into this and never found more than one person per incident who witnessed such a thing. And those individuals who say they did are all, everyone of them, have been angry conservative pro Vietnam War activists.
If you have been following this story of racial epitaphs, bricks going through Democratic office windows and threats on Cable News you will have had lots of laughs watching Republicans counter all this by saying no one knows who is doing it! Their politics are a mystery! And believe it or not, that it is Democrats doing it to Democrats to try and make Republicans look bad. HEY! REPUBLICANS DON’T NEED ANYONE TO HELP THEM LOOK BAD! It is one of the few things they are really good at.
