Brings back Mitt Romney telling kids to borrow their $50,000 (that's just tuition for an in state secondary university) from their parents. And it isn't Mitt Romney that is so out of touch, it is the GOP. I can understand the filthy rich voting for Republicans but how ANYONE else could vote to such a degree against their own self interest is beyond me. But then my life does not revolve around guns and God and how gay people do it.
But you know, the very first thing I ever wrote here – well it was when this was hardcopy newsletter in 1993 – was what makes a Republican a Republican is their inability to step inside someone elses' shoes and look around.
