Looks like we have a new Republican hero on our hands, Conrad Hilton the Third! Already it looks like his group of corporate lawyers have got him off the most serious charges. And we complained about Paris Hilton who did what? I don’t even recall. Going to clubs, and being hot I guess.
We need to eliminate the death tax! Immediately! What about the farmers and the small business owners? First off, the federal nut on the estate tax is now about $6 million before it’s taxed. Only $6 million! OMG, I know that affects you. And of course there are exceptions written into law regarding farms and small businesses they never mention.
But Food stamps for hungry people? SSI for the disabled? Medicaid for the poor? Affordable health care for those living on the edge? That all must be slashed and reduced for the good of… the good of… Hmm… I don’t know. White people on pig farms in Iowa? And even that doesn’t make much sense. Oh yeah, trickle down! Reagan did it and tripled the national debt. W. Bush did it and destroyed the world economy! And they are still selling it. Good salesmen those Republicans, just through them some guns and Jesus and they got it all wrapped up.
We all now the real meaning of so many words Republicans use to try and hide who and what they are. Like “entitlement” and “urban” and “dependency” and “personal responsibility” and so on. But we often fail to understand that the big ones they use ad nausem every few seconds million of times a day mean the same things. “Small government” and “less government” and “no new taxes” and “leave it to the states to decide” and “inside the beltway” and “socialism” all meaning the same thing.
“I don’t want my hard earned tax money going to those lazy bums living downtown somewhere…”
That’s it friends. the bottom line of Republican ideology. And you know what paying taxes to promote the general welfare of a nation is called? CIVILIZATION.
