Putting aside the knowledge that Bush declined an opportunity to stop Obama years ago; we can see by Republican attempts to take credit that it would be extremely different if indeed Republicans had been the ones to bring Bin Laden down.
How different would it be, and how would the world perceive us if the roles were reversed? Would there be bragging, gloating, perhaps impaling Bin Laden’s head on a stake driven into the White House lawn? Would the entire horrific saga be shown on CSPAN?
