Chris Christie has been busy in the ten weeks since the bi-partisan bill landed upon his desk. There was nothing to do but review it (a no brainer) and sign. To be fair, he has been frolicking in the Jersey Shore, purchasing new snow plows, and cheer-leading his constituents.
Obviously those are all valid reasons to let victims of crime continue to hassle with a system which often as not places the onus of having to pay for criminal justice in court.
Speaking of court, the collection of DNA necessary to charge a sex offender has also landed squarely in the laps of rape victims, along with numerous other medical treatments and bills related to the crimes and well-being of the victims.
It would take one second for Christie to sign the bill – but he is rather busy repealing environmental protection, and sniping at citizens who ask him difficult questions…Besides, what is it with these women, it’s always ‘me, me, me first!’
RJ ADDS: I am hard pressed to decide which lardass is a better role model for our children, Rush Limbaugh or Chris Christie.
