A tip of the GOLDEN Asshat award to uber-wealthy Lloyd Blankfein, CEO of Goldman Sachs. Blankfein’s financial neighborhood is such that his salary tripled in one year from a mere $600,000. to two million. Of course, Goldman Sachs rewards themselves, and in 2007 alone, he added a $67.9 million dollar bonus to his piggy bank! I say this only to set the stage for his recent actions.
Good steward and CEO Blankfein has just demonstrated his appreciation for the generous $10 billion bailout. Remember Blankfein the next time a conservative shakes his head resolutely refusing to tax the upper two percent!
Silver: Texas Governor Rick Perry doesn’t like government interference, unless, like Goldman Sachs, he’s counting large monetary gifts from that same government. Big government is frustrating! On one hand, Perry is pro- secession, on the other – he’s pretty sure that the government might actually leave him alone if – he managed to do it.
Bronze: Racist moron, Eric Bolling of Fox News, not only tops himself, he bottoms out. You’ll remember Bolling from Obama’s visit with Ali Bongo, president of Gabon. Bolling stated,
"Guess who’s coming to dinner? A dictator. Mr. Obama shares a laugh with one of Africa’s kleptocrats. It’s not the first time he’s had a hoodlum in the hizzouse."
Today, Bolling demonstrated a complete lack of decency and sensitivity in regard to Mark Haines, who passed away just last month.
