A pair of Georgia Peepers got more than an eye-full Sunday night, when their world literally came crashing down around their ears at the Venture Value Cinema in Duluth. It’s rare that brothers share a common bond this compelling and frankly strange, and 26-year-old Eduard Petrovich Kovynev and 27-year-old Eduard Alexander Kovynev are certainly old enough to know better, causing me to wonder if copies of “Porkies” are still in wide distribution and affecting society’s nitwits?
Scheming to get a glimpse of the fairer sex in a private moment without being seen in return – the two climbed up and into the crawl space above the mens room ceiling. From there they stealthily crawled to a perch which afforded them a surreptitious glimpse down into the ladies restroom. Settling in for a peek, the pair were soon more startled than anyone else when their safe haven suddenly gave way. In a crash of ceiling tiles and debris, the two were deposited unceremoniously into the exact area of their curiosity, the (fortunately unoccupied) ladies room stalls, where they were found and later arrested. The perverse brothers have been charged with Peeping Tom and criminal damage to property. No ladies were injured in the crash.
