American monoculturalism rules the Republican Party
Obama has really done it this time! Around the world he goes being polite and respectful to leaders of non exceptional nations. And now this. Groveling to a foreign robot! What’s next? Petting foreign dogs?
Japanese culture has a bow as we have a handshake. Russians have a cheek kissing like we have a hug. Indians put palms together and nod to our YO. And I noticed in my travels through Mexico that women of all kinds hold hands and often walk arm in arm, in public! Oh the humanity.
Do it our way or not at all. Speak English or don’t speak at all. And of course whenever some other non exceptional country solves a problem, we must never follow suit, after all it’s probably socialism.
Perhaps it is not racism that drives the ear bleeding hate of Obama from Republicans. Maybe it is his proclivity to do THE RIGHT THING. Doing the right thing is not in the realm of the nature of Republicans. It’s more of let the cards fall as the may and too bad for you, and you, and you…
