Rand Paul Doctor Douchebag on Healthcare

Rand Paul Evangelical libertarian

“Justice in health care should be a priority of governments and international institutions” Pope Francis in a 2011 speech naming health care one of the “inalienable rights” of man.

Recently with all the Rand Paul crap about him leaning left in the news, Sarah Silverman stepped up to the plate to tweet us a reminder of what Kindasorta Dr Rand Paul said comparing not only Obamacare, but Medicare and Medicaid to slavery and fascism.

Fox News, talk radio turned purple screaming Silverman was a liar and took it out of context. But they were wrong, its right there to see in context, problem being that the screaming  works no matter true or not. That is the beauty of Fox News and talk radio which together have created the political divisiveness that has gone so over the top in the past 20 years that to most of the rest of the world we all drive clown cars.

“With regard to the idea of whether or not you have a right to healthcare, you have to realize what that implies… I’m a physician, that means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me, it means you believe in slavery. It means you’re going to enslave not only me, but the janitor at my hospital, the assistants, the nurses… There’s an implied threat of force, do you have a right to beat down my door with the police, escort me away, and force me to take care of you? That’s ultimately what the right to free healthcare would be.” Senator Rand Paul on the Senate floor May 10, 2011.

What makes Libertarian politics so horrific is that it supports no moral compass. None at all, whatsoever, not a nano nit of it.

Libertarian politics is only about three things, how much money you can stuff in your back pocket, how many guns you can stuff in your front pocket and how much cake you can stuff down you throat.

At least the other evangelical Christian half of the Republican Base has some grounding in moral imperatives. Though their three loudest issues are just as horrific in their own right. A big intrusive government forcing women to have children they do not want, a big intrusive government celebrating bigotry against gays and gay marriage, and a big intrusive government putting people to death.

And it is Rand Paul who is trying to take all six of these horrid ideas and wrap them up into one big ugly package on his run for President.
