Out of their big 2012 election loss the first thing Republicans did to change their selfish nasty image was to stand tall and vote against disabled veterans. Then after 20 six year children – one kid shot 11 times so they could not identify the body – were massacred by an assault rifle with numerous 30 round clips – the Republicans came out of the box promoting assault riles with 30 round clips! Then last week they decided to personally attack and demean Hillary Clinton who Americans like SIX TIMES MORE than they do Republicans in Congress.
But that is all just superficial standard nastyass crap that points only to their character. That 5 pronged vision of the Republican World view. I, Me, My, Mine and fck you.
What they are really up to is far more dangerous. The trifecta of the New Fascism.
1) Majority and Super Majority control of state legislatures to redraw districts in favor of Republicans. [In the last election Democratic House members got 1 million more votes than Republicans and are 33 seats behind. In fact in Pennsylvania the US House delegation won 13 for Republicans to 5 Democrats (a 250% advantage ) even though Democrats in Pennsylvania had a 6% advantage in the state wide popular vote – a discrepancy of 245%]
2) Many forms of IN YOUR FACE Voter Suppression in states held by Republican governors and legislatures to specifically suppress the vote of minorities and young people.
3) The move in Republican circles, kicked off by Virginia last week, to change the rules of the Electoral College to give rural areas even more power than they do not deserve by splitting the votes to already gerrymandered Republican Congressional districts.
Other than that I can’t seem to come up with any other changes in Republican character or world view. I can guarantee that it will not be until the day after the 2014 election that Republicans will give any thought at all to changing anything. And even then they have enough power in the House and Filbuster crazies in the Senate to destroy this country.
The President’s first order of business should be follow Speaker Bohner’s advice and ANNIHILATE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!
