Late Night with Seth Meyers puts a greatly-improved spin on the show-down between dad joke artist, and harmonica master Senator Tim Kaine and Presidential hopeful…Er, Governor Mike Pence. Seth acts as moderator, and while the candidates answer the questions themselves, their answers are brief and revealing.
An irrepressible Seth Meyers is accused by Pence of “whipping out that Mexican thing again.” Frankly, he did…But it was adorable. As if proof were needed that Senator Kaine is a nice guy, he is asked what he would say if a rowdy group of teens stole his mini-van. (We can safely assume he has a mini van). Kaine cheerfully replies “Go ahead folks, enjoy yourselves!” There are many questions guaranteed to bring a smile or an actual laugh to even the most battle fatigued election watchers.
Although it has been manipulated for the sake of comedy, Mike Pence’s estimation of the Trump campaign proves to be absolutely prescient…See if you don’t agree.
