Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell are way way too smart for the vast majority of Americans to take heed of. Americans cannot relate to those they know are smarter than they are. Proved by the success of Ronald Reagan, Dan Quayle, George W. Bush, Glenn Beck, Rand Paul, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly and of course Sarah Palin. None of them can pull the wool over idiot-eyes.
On MSNBC the nighttime pundits explain that some tax hikes are needed to get us out of debt, and that Republicans are the party of self interest for the wealthy. 100% true. While on the other hand the Fox pundits tell their viewers that President Obama is a foreign born Muslim socialist and any tax increase at all on the wealthy will destroy America. 100% lies.
100% lies are not equal to 100% truth. Well in the real world anyway.
