Stephen Colbert Benghazi Hearings: Hillary Clinton looked presidential, Republicans looked like wienies

benghazi gop wieniesSo much talky talky about how the GOP must change to once again become a viable political party.  Conservative MEANS to not change.  American Indians had this all figured out a thousand years ago with the story of the frog and the scorpion.  The scorpion asks the frog for a ride across the river. The frog questions the idea asking what is to keep the scorpion from giving him the stab of death. The scorpion answers self preservation. Halfway across the river the scorpion stings the frog and as they are taken down to their deaths the Frog asks why, the scorpion replies, I am a scorpion it is my nature.

This show by Republicans, who had 4 months to prep for, the point of which was not to solve anything but to put a sock in a possible second President Clinton only made her more appealing and the GOP more like the wienies they are.

And you know this entire Benghazi thing…. Compare it to the intelligence and actions of the W Bush Administration before and after 911.  On one hand we have a little dust up halfway around the world in enemy territory and the GOP goes ballistic wanting heads to roll. Compared to the most gigantic world changing terrorist act in history and the GOP gives out awards to Rice, Rumsfeld and company.

And again we have this false moral equivalency from the media. That the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton are somehow morally, ethically and politically equal to Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.  The same crap the media gives to Global Warming, the NRA and pretending all the GOP redistricting and suppression of the vote is not racially motivated.
