Shoulda been a beer! The Rubio Response was memorable for the sweat scratching and water reaching while the content is mostly now forgotten. We need to remind ourselves of what he said. Just hours after Senator Rubio voted against the Violence Against Women act with 21 other Republican Senators, the moderate NEW HISPANIC HOPE took to the cameras to give the same speech that Tea Party Paul Ryan and that other guy, Muffin something or other, gave 1000 times last year. Nothing new, nothing moderate, nothing at all but the same old Republican TEA PARTY crap.
So the GOP needs another new Hispanic savior, this one fked up. Hmmm… Damn… Hmmm… Hmmm… Well there is Ted Cruz! But Ted is is about as Hispanic as Yon Yonsen from Wisconsin, and after being a Senator for only a month he is already being defined as the top nutcake in the Senate by Senators from both parties. Hmmm… Is Pinochet still around?
What is Ted Cruz up to by trying to out clown Rand Paul? If he stays on top of his game as he has played it so far, it is obvious what he is after. An easy shoe-in for Governor of Texas. Though he personally has not shot and killed anything we know of so far, he will have to get to work on that. Remember, Ann Richards did not sew up the election until days before when she made the front pages of most Texas newspapers holding a gun with a string of dead doves around her neck. Dead doves… Gosh…
