The Republicans are about to cut food stamps by $40 billion. The recipients are mostly children followed by single mothers which make up 80% of it. Their object is to let it be known that the growth of hungry people – since the Republicans screwed up the economy 5 years ago – are moochers and losers who need to be shamed. It goes without saying, that is who and what Republicans are.
Fox News channel pushes that nastyass crap hour after hour every day and is the most watched and most loved cable news network in America. In fact it is more watched and loved that CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined.
But even that is a secondary problem, the primary disconnect is that half of Americans vote for these nasty bastards even when their own self interest is at stake. Why is that?
Three reasons. The first two we are all well aware of, race and religion. It is the third one that is most often ignored. A bleeding from the ears, hair on fire, purple turning overwhelming gun needing hatred of liberals.
And why is that? Part of that is the fault of finger wagging political correctness. But the resentment really boils over in these people several times everyday whenever they look in a mirror to find that liberals are smarter, more educated and better looking that they are.
