I am with the Tea Party reasoning on this one. Why bother with immigration reform or pro Hispanic anything at all when they are not going to jump in the back of the GOP bus that overflows with anti-government free market religious intolerance and racial and ethnic bigotry? Offering upwards of 10 million undocumented Hispanics the vote only adds to the demographic collapse the GOP has little chance of worming themselves out of as it is.
One also has to account for making the Republican offer good enough for the undocumented to want to carry a HERE I AM sign to help ICE round them up.
And of course there is the fence. The only way to make that work is to copy what East Germany and the Soviet Union did with the Iron Curtain. And what with Justin Bieber and Rob Ford running amok we will need a concrete wall with orders to shoot to kill spanning both our borders North and South.
And of course the question that if President Obama goes along with the the GOP’s halfass reform whether it can later be expanded to include citizenship after the Tea Party goes cold. As did the confederacy, the Klan, the John Birch Society and the Moral Majority.
