I watched this interview on Fox News Sunday and was not so much disgusted by his Right-wing demeanor or his explanation that HAND HELD surface to surface and surface to air missiles do come under the 2nd Amendment “BEAR ARMS” clause – bear as in hold in your hand. What rattled me was his explanation that handing these missile launchers out to the James Holmes of the world is dependent upon the social norm of the times.
This witty dearly loved rolly polly piece of right-wing crap has been screaming for 30 some years about constitutional ORIGINAL INTENT! That interpreting the Constitution to today’s values is Judicial Activism and verboten.
So I guess we begin with those rocket launchers that are so popular in the Middle East. Trouble being you can only fire off one at a time. But I am sure once we get started, our American EXCEPTIONALISM in guns and violence will find some sort of hand held rapid fire rocket launcher.
I do wonder if the NRA is powerful enough to get those surface to air hand held missile launchers available at Walmart. They would need the backing of the intelligent American voter… Hmm… I suppose they would be too expensive for your average Negro to purchase… So may as well do a pre order at Amazon.
