I don’t know what is wrong with the Republican Party playing to their ever dwindling intolerant, bigoted Christian base when they should be out there with their winning issues of tax breaks for the wealthy, deregulation of environment and financial entities, and taking healthcare away from millions of Americans. You know the down deep soul of the Republican Party.
The recent vote in the South Carolina Senate to take down the confederate flag in front of the state house was 37 to 3 in favor of taking it down. What is that, only 8% want to keep the flag flying on government property in South Carolina of all places?
But what about the recent Gallup poll that said 57% of Americans believe the confederate flag is not about racism but Southern Heritage? That is the most amazing poll I have ever taken note of in my lifetime.
I suppose by removing all blacks and while liberals from the polling nut, it would mean every single white person in the South and Idaho, including their children, dogs and any surviving roadkill, voted heritage.
