President-elect Trump sent Conan an old fashioned chain letter beseeching him to attend his inauguration — or else. Watch the video, and read the letter for yourself, and see if you feel that Conan should cancel his previous engagements and be there!.
It seems odd that thin-skinned Trump would send an invitation to a comedian who has been so very inspired by him. However, the nature of the letter will explain why it’s not all forgiveness, high entertainment and tea cakes for Conan.
Chain letters – which are a social media scourge, often call for some action like prayer, and/or they demand the recipient to forward a message to 100 of their closest friends, with the warning that if they fail to comply, something horrible will happen to the recipient personally! I realize something horrible is scheduled to happen already…But should Conan Go? Sometimes you shouldn’t tempt fate!
