Jefferson Beauregard Sessions the Third – named after either Thomas Jefferson or the leader of slavery advocate and President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis – did not resign as expected after Trump threw him under the bus. Why? Because Sessions life work has been to reboot the War on Drugs, impound the property of the accused rather than the convicted and substantially increase the prison population of minorities.
The question is if Sessions had done the right thing and quit would it have been the catalyst for a long line of resignations of those in the administration smarter than a Palin? [There are several]
