Money spent do deter gun deaths would be the combined amount of the anti gun lobby which is about $500,000 a year and the portion of the ATF budget that goes to gun control, about $300 million a year. For the decade that would be $3.05 billion.
Money spent to deter terrorism would be the cost of much of homeland security, the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war – or about $7 trillion. Do the math. And WHO are the guns killing and what neighborhoods do they destroy? And who is it that could care least?
