The politics of this is video proof that Republican Senator John McCain is a liar regarding DON’T ASK DON’T TELL. Three years ago McCain said that he would go with what the leaders of the Military wanted in this regard. Secretary of Defense Gates, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mullens and even the popular General Colin Powell all said it is time to let Gays serve openly.
