time travelers agrees with him. He’s baaaack! This time, an intense. Barber compares paying taxes to slavery with his new friend from the past, Abe Lincoln. While Lincoln freed the slaves, there’s just one tiny little detail
about taxes and Lincoln that Barber failed to research. If Lincoln truly could talk, he’d give Rick Barber an entirely different answer to the chummy sounding question:: "Hey Abe, if someone is forced to work for months to pay taxes so that a total stranger can get a free meal, medical procedure or a bailout, what’s that called? What’s it called when one man is forced to work for another?" My guess is hyperbole but sadly, Lincoln is doomed to play along and agree with Barber.
