Lawrence O’Donnell’s REWRITE concentrates on the politics of religion, and politics is uncomfortably more and more about religion. Still, with the media demanding to know which church candidates attend, and proof that they worship the ‘right’ God, there is one question Mitt Romney will never have to answer.
The uncomfortable line of questioning began – and ended when Romney was asked: Q "Do you believe it’s a sin for a white man to marry and procreate with a black woman?" Romney brusquely replied, "NO, next question!" (Implied, don’t ask me another question or I’ll have the goon squad remove you)- Lawrence O’Donnell explains why this was such an important question, and wonders if Romney can truly be sincere.
