The Iraq War at Sixty Billion Dollars, ten years and countless lives, makes for a whopping total cost for the U.S. – and an obscene profit for those who got us into the mess! Like totaling your calories at the end of a splurge, or balancing a long-forgotten checkbook, the numbers you’ll see in this video are sobering.
On this tenth anniversary, I’d like to propose a tribute. Dick Cheney AKA Halliburton, big oil companies and the top 25 contractors owe Saddam Hussein a debt of gratitude…Which they can well afford. After all, they are only morally bankrupt. They should erect a statue, and declare a national holiday in his honor. Without Hussein, and his vanishing WMD’s they couldn’t have bilked us out of the money which could have provided health care, education and raised our standard of living to a level on par with civilized nations. Like diets and budgets, one does tend to splurge once in a while…But the nation would be better served by installing water parks in every city, if we’re to be frivolous, than the ten year splurge of life and resources we have funded on a lie.
