33 year old Otty Sanchez decapitated her 3 week old infant, ate some of its brain and then stabbed herself a few times. On orders from the Devil. She had been hospitalized for schizophrenia in the past and had been only a week earlier diagnosed with postpartum psychosis.
Otty Sanchez met Scott W. Buchholz – the father of the child – in 2003 while both attended Dental Assistant School. Scott Buchholz was first in line to ask that the woman be executed, followed quickly by the Bextar County detectives on the case and soon the Bextar County District Attorney.
