The three most powerful Republicans over the last 20 years or so have been Roger Ailes, Rush Limbaugh and Grover Norquist. Grover seems to be gong the way of Elmo, Rush is losing ground and even Roger Ailes is finally losing ground to MSNBC.
I have heard that if we were to bring the nut down to $150 a year income, I personally know of no one who makes that much, that the deficit would be solved just on that alone. A single payer health care system with a payroll tax of less than what we pay for health insurance now would eliminate the debt in 5 years. Also keep in mind that this rise in income tax is only about the money OVER the $250,000. And rising it to $500,000 means there is not enough people in that bracket to matter much.
Reading up on how poorly Rush is doing these days comes down to one event. The Sandra Fluke attack. And you know, this election was really about one event too. The 47% Romney speech caught on video by a busboy. Even Grover’s demise is over one thing, the tax pledge. Trouble is Fox News does about a dozen “one things” a day and being all over the map makes it hard to zero in on any one thing. They are like the shotgun channel. Or the blunderbust station
