There are few sights that are more beautiful and iconic of the season than the magnificent Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree – unless it's Seattle's Aurora Bridge Troll…A slight exaggeration, but there's no accounting for taste. Unlike the latter, the tree is a familiar sight to people worldwide, who are drawn to New York each winter, where they gaze upon the wondrous tree, and skate in the midst of a bedazzling winter wonderland like no other!
It was only this evening that I learned how much entertainment our geeky skating attempts provide for cruel and cynical residents of New York. Bundled against the cold, they warm their hands on a triple mocha low fat latte ole' with sprinkles and snicker in the superior manner that only those who aren't sporting a broken tailbone can. Thoroughly disillusioned, I leave it to Jimmy to sift through the other Pros and Cons of the big tree they have out there in the big city.
