Video: Jon Stewart Assumes Corporate Rights, its only fair

What with the recent activist conservative Supreme Court decision giving corporations the same rights as individuals (so they can personally help pour more money into our system of corporate bribery) Jon Stewart assumes that would mean individuals have the same rights as corporations. In perhaps the most well written and explained political lesson in Daily Show history, Jon Stewart takes the premise down the line into the silliness this crazyass Supreme Court is taking us. I was thinking that this decision means corporations as individuals then have the right to bear arms, and as they are so much bigger than I am, they can have 16" cannons, Cruise missiles, and even Christ-all-mighties [transcontinental ICBMs with multiple head hydrogen bombs] On they trucks. Right? There is a big problem with this video though…

This 10 minute clip may be hard for some of us to sit through, imagine someone from Texas or Alaska watching it. As my children used to say, its too conclicapated Dad! I mean just the first twist of it leaves the Palin Family in the cold dirt from whence they came.

This kind of humor, this kind of satire, this kind of depth into a subject is so far beyond most Americans ability to grasp even the premise. No matter it is something they promote, it is too long, too conclicapated and too boring.

This nation’s politics is fueled by Republican sloganeering. It is about all their constituents can understand.

Death Panels!
European Socialism!
Health care is being jammed down our throats!
Big government takeover of health care!
Americans  hate this bill!
Death Tax!
Taxed to Death!
Obamacare!
