Been there! Done that!
What is so great about this video is it ends so well! GLASS HALF FULL!
This one came by just after I read in some entertainment publication that flip flops are the stuff of the very low class. As an exclusive Flip Flop wearer for 6 months a year (a habit I picked up living in the Florida Keys for a few years) it had never occurred to me it was a low class thing.
I asked about this from my far more fashion conscious family. It’s unanimous! Dad is low class! Especially when I wear my black baseball cap emblazoned with that kindly tribute to Al Pacino in Scarface, "f you you fing f." But to be fair, I only wear it when I go in for fast food.
I cannot place the time when baseball caps became so ubiquitously popular outside baseball games. Which seems to have greatly dissipated of late – unless you wear one backwards with your pants on the ground. I also noticed that at least down here in Dumbutt, those few who still wear baseball caps forwardly were the same guys who a generation ago wore cowboy boots and cowboy hats when they went formal to BBQs, Honky Tonks and Rodeos.
