Taking a break from harassing families of homosexual soldiers, the Kansas clan proposed taking their anti-Semitic message to three Jewish sites in New
York today. While they don’t bring out the best in people, perhaps it is time that the harassed exercise their right to free speech as well.
Though the two groups were separated by barriers, the Westboro clan was piled safely into police vans to remove them from one school site. Is it just me, or
does Shirley Phelps seem a bit overwhelmed by the group which pushed back with much more enthusiasm than the stunned families who are usually the target of
Westboro’s anti-gay harassment?
