What better way to ‘prove’ that buying health insurance is both unnecessary and not Constitutional than to promote a bill requiring residents to purchase a gun!
Coulter aside, many good points are put forth in this discussion. For my part, I know of no one who regrets the requirement that all of the other motor vehicle drivers they might possibly connect with at some point, possess insurance.
While I’m comparing apples to oranges, car insurance would be just that much better if we weren’t limited to private insurance companies by state law, which brings us back full circle to President Obama’s original health care bill which would simply have been an extension of Medicare, and not as much of a boon to private insurance. That is what you get by playing nicely with Republicans who fight tooth and nail, then make it their first order of business to repeal the watered down version, or any other variation completely!
Consider the sources as always. The House and Senate receive the most excellent, free insurance in the country; and before Sarah Palin commanded upward of $160 thou a night, she was up-front about slipping across the Canadian border with her family for a little free health treatment. Now, will whomever dusted off Ann Coulter’s well insured bony butt please push the OFF button and put her back where you found her? Thanks.
