“Queers… is what I’m upset about. This gay right here.”
Many of the comments and references I have seen on this incident used the word “troubled” or “crazy” to describe this piece of poop. No, he’s not troubled or crazy, he’s just a Republican who has had too many beers to keep his mouth shut.
I used this photo because his name has not yet been made public so at least we get a good shot of his face.
It also looks like the gay man he attacked may not have been gay but just wearing a pink shirt for whatever reason, not that it matters.
“If you ever get the chance to got to Dallas, take it from me, pass it by.” Jimmy Buffet
My first experience with Dallas, Texas was some 30 years ago on a business trip. I was having a lonely breakfast with the newspaper to find two front page stories.
The first had a picture of a high school kid in a wheelchair. He was a recent double amputee from cancer with only a year to live. The school system had refused to let him on school grounds because he wore a wig (chemotherapy) that went past his ears and his collar.
The other front page story had a picture of then Dallas Cowboy star Tony Dorset who had been refused entrance into to a Dallas nightclub the Saturday night before because he was black.
What was so unnerving for me was that the newspaper took the side of both the school and the nightclub. I did my business and never went back to the horrid place.
