Stephen Colbert, A C Grayling humanist Bible, THE GOOD BOOK

Humanist Bible, no God? Oh my God! Ah, notice right away the English (or UnAmerican) accent, for no decent American could think in such a logical way.

The Colbert Report title pretty much says it all, "a collection of great wisdom, but it’s nothing Stephen would kill somebody else over." Reminds me of one of the major themes of Pat Robertson’s TV show, our Children all need something to die for.  How pleasant.

Speaking of "pleasant" I was pleasantly surprised to hear Mr. Colbert use the standard argument for God I have heard down here in Dumbutt in every GOD debate I ever participated in personally.

"If there is no God, what is to stop me from killing you?"

The answer is obvious. If it is your nature, which I assume it is because you bring this up, then it is to my benefit and the benefit of society that YOU and those like you (Christians) being the indiscriminate murderers you are, should indeed be under the control of any contrived supernatural power to hold back your desire to murder others.
